CONTRIBUTE TO CUCHARA MOUNTAIN PARK

Panadero Ski Corporation is working hard to open Lift 4 and with it, access to 7 beginner and family-friendly runs with a truly affordable lift ticket price. To be able to open and provide the best experience possible we've identified the four critical areas below that need funding to return lift-served skiing to Cuchara Mountain Park.

As we phase in our opening with Snow Cat Sled operations our goals are:

Develop rental and ski school program -> Working to make this a reality by the 2025/2026 ski season.
Continue youth programs with local school districts and organizations to promote involvement in skiing/snowboarding and other forms of outdoor recreation. -> Panadero Ski Corporation has hosted two Huerfano County Youth Ski Days on March of 2024 and 2025.
Provide the best skiing/riding experience at a low cost -> Day Passes for Snow Cat Sled Skiing for have been $40/day for the past three ski seasons.
Expand hiking and biking trails -> Plans are being developed to build more cross country, mountain biking and hiking trails at the park.

Safety

Ensure skiing at Cuchara Mountain Park is as safe as possible

Workforce

Hire experienced ski industry staff to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Hire part time employees from Huerfano and Las Animas Counties to operate Lift 4, assist snowmakers, work ticket office, run concession stand and rent skis/snowboard.
